Description
Gale's Garage and Pan-Am gasoline station, 641 Lafayette Road. Built by Floyd and Clara Gale in 1925, they sold the business in 1944 to Lawrence Hackett, who opened Hackett Chevrolet. The building was torn down in March 2003. It is now (2007) the home of a Hess Express service station and convenience store, across from the entrance to Hannaford's Grocery store. At far right the water tower on Mill Road is visible.
