Graves and Ramsdell Company Ye Colonial Inn

Description

Frank E. and Maude B. Nason, February 8, 1925. Frank Nason was for twenty years the manager of the Graves and Ramsdell Company, owners of the Hampton Beach Casino and Ocean House Hotel. Their permanent residence was at 33 Lexington Avenue in Haverhill, Mass., but during the summers they lived in company property in a cottage called "Hampton" on "D" Street at Hampton Beach. Since this picture was taken in the winter it may show them at their Haverhill home. By 1927 Frank had opened Ye Colonial Inn at 137 Ocean Blvd., and they lived there during their summer residences at the Beach. They continued to run and manage the Colonial until some time during World War II, after which it came under new management.
