Description
The Ring Swamp Cemetery on Park Avenue, c. 1896. This was the town's second cemetery, laid out in 1797, the first interment being that of Joshua Towle who died that year. The earliest existing gravestone dates from 1800, and the most recent from 1934. The home at left was built c. 1814 by John Batchelder and still stands at 60 Park Avenue.
